A peer reviewed refereed journal, in UGC CARE List
Kalā is the research journal of the IAHC published annually. It is a peer reviewed refereed journal which is included in the UGC CARE List (ISSN 0975-7945). Call for papers are given in the month of July every year. All papers are scrutinised and sorted by the Editorial Board. Short-listed papers are sent for blind peer review to eminent art historians. Upon receipt of a favourable review the authors are intimated and advised to make necessary revisions/corrections, if any. The journal is released at the annual session of the IAHC. (Submission guidelines)
Kalā provides a common platform to young and senior scholars alike to deliberate on Indian art. It has been the primary aim of the founder of IAHC, the Late Professor K.D. Bajpai to encourage young scholars to write research papers of high quality on different aspects of Indian art, painting, sculpture, iconography and architecture.
